A quarter-hour drive away we find the capital of our province: Imperia, historically consisting of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio. The town is connected to Diano Marina by a sea-side track called the"Unfinished". With our walking bikes you get there by pedaling along the sea!
Here you can shop under the Porticoes and in the Galleria degli Orti, have lunch at a restaurant in Calata Cuneo, visit the interesting Olive Tree Museum, Grock Villa and the Parasio with the spectacular Loggias of St. Clare.

Scenic medieval villages, ancient local traditions
With a quarter of an hour by highway you can reach Alassio or the Le Caravelle water park of Ceriale and - near the suburb by Laigueglia - spend the night at the Suerte, stunning outdoor disco overlooking the sea, with sunrise views of theGallinara Island.
Within a twenty-minute drive are the shopping centers of Arma di Taggia, Imperia and clothing stores in San Remo.
The elegant San Remo Casino (half an hour of highway) is an unmissable destination, not far from the Ariston Theater where the Italian Song Festival. Just above in San Remo, the Olive Tree Golf Course.
To reach the coastal towns towards Ventimiglia, you can enjoy a fantastic ride or walk along the Ponente Ligure Coastal Park: 20 km of footpath by the sea!
A visit to the villages of Apricale, Bajardo, Ceriana, Dolceacqua, Seborga and Valloria (the land of painted doors), to the historic center of Taggia, the villas of San Remo e Bordighera. The latter is called the "Queen of Palms".

For a dip into the unusual, must-see Old Bussana, destroyed by the 1887 earthquake and resurrected thanks to dozens of artists who settled there, opening studios and experimenting among the carrugi and ancient ruins.
Another mandatory destination-in the province of Savona, a 30-minute drive from the hotel-the exciting Caves of Toirano.
San Bartolomeo al Mare--in the Levante--is an hour's drive from Genoa and its Aquarium, the largest and considered most beautiful in Italy.
To the west is half an hour from the prehistoric site of the Red Balzi, from the renowned gardens of Hanbury Villa, from Ventimiglia and its weekly market.
We also remind you that San Bartolomeo al Mare is less than an hour's drive from the French Riviera: it is possible to reach Menton, Monte Carlo and Nice In 40 minutes by highway.
